Trygve Allister Diesen

Trygve Allister Diesen (born 1967) is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. Diesen studied film at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and have a comprehensive background in screenwriting, photography and directing. He has directed three feature films - "Isle of Darkness (Norwegian film)" (writer/director), "Hold My Heart (Norwegian film)" (writer/director). Hold My Heart was also Norway's official submission for the 2003 Academy Awards. His first American film "Red" played at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. Diesen is also a prolific TV-director. He has also translated plays for theatres.
