[edit] Ancient Greek Wikisource
I understand from your userboxes you're interested in Ancient Greek. I've submitted a proposal to add an Ancient Greek Wikisource on Meta, and I'd be very grateful if you could assist me by either voting in Support of the proposal, or even adding your name as one of the contributors in the template. (NB: I'm posting this to a lot of people, so please reply to my talkpage or to Meta) --Nema Fakei 20:10, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Georgian reports of early IYPTs
Dear Thomas,
Can I ask you for a little assistance?
I am very interested in contributing to the article International Young Physicists' Tournament, namely to the sections that clarify the history of that competition in 1988 - 1996.
It seems that very little information is known about these years. At least, almost nothing is available in Slavic languages, in Hungarian and in English that were among spoken languages at the IYPTs in those days.
I have just found an article in Georgian language that seems to report the participants, schedules and winners (from 1992):
http://www.vekua42.edu.ge/IYPT/IYPT-International.htm
Please, could I ask your help in translating the reports of 1992-1996 into English? Only factual information (days, months, years, names of the participating countries and winners) is necessary.
It would be a really invaluable contribution. Thank you in advance. --Ilya Martchenko 00:48, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
