Trv900
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Sony DCR-TRV900 is a 3CCD camcorder of the DCR line of Sony. It had an MSRP value of $2699 when it was released in September of 1998.
The camcorder has three 1/4 inch CCDs that provides high quality video image. The TRV900 model has a 3.5-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and a color viewfinder. The camcorder has a 12x optical zoom and a 48x digital zoom. One feature in particular that makes the TRV900 an exceptional camcorder is its focus ring. Though often overlooked, this feature allows you to focus using the ring around the lens, which offers great focusing control. The camcorder includes a FireWire port that transfers video from camcorder to computer.
An upgraded version of this is the DSR-PD100, which looks exactly like the TRV900, with the exception of color. The PD100 also uses the higher grade DVCAM tapes.
