[edit] Gilwell Park

Hello Trueman, welcome to wikipedia. The Gilwell Park article is a Featured Article, that has been written to the highest quality of wikipedia. Every word and sentence has been discussed, and now the article is deemed stable. New additions remain always welcome if they contribute to the article. Given the effort put into it, each addition is scrutinized against the same high quality levels.

Your adding 'just a link to some campsite' doesn't contribute to the article: as pointed out, there would be hundred of Scout campsites you could list here, and still the article wouldn't be better. That's the reason your addition keeps being removed by one of the other editors.

May I recommend that you start writing the Hawkhirst Scout Camp article yourself, and add to it whatever interesting information is to be said about it? You can add it as new article to WP:Scout. Wim van Dorst (Talk) 20:34, 7 May 2007 (UTC).

Yep, listing a closed scout camp of no international importance is spamming and not an improvement. Wim makes a good suggestion with Hawhirst.Rlevse 20:37, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
