[edit] Reliable sources

Hi, thank you for your edits to Phat pants. Unfortunately, much of it qualifies as original research, and doesn't meet Wikipedia's standards for verifiability. And the source you included is a self-published source, and therefore not appropriate according to policy on external links and attribution.

But if you can find reliable sources, i.e. reputable newspaper and magazine articles to support your edits, they are more than welcome. Thank you. --Ytny (talk) 19:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quoted content

When we quote a source, we must always be careful to make sure we don't alter the words of our source. Your changes in essence put words in the mouth of our cited source. Please be more careful in the future, and always make sure that you are editing in accordance with what is verifiable in our sources, not based on your own personal opinions. Thanks.-Andrew c [talk] 22:29, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

On lung cancer you removed information without an explanation. Please don't expect other editors to read your mind - consider leaving an edit summary. JFW | T@lk 23:25, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
