I am a partnered, Vietnamese-American, medical professional. I currently reside in San Diego, CA, which is a beautiful city about 10 hours drive south of where I was born.


[edit] Degree-Related Knowledge base

I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, CT, USA. I am currently interviewing in the Pacific, Mountain, and Southwest regions of the United States for a residency position in Pediatrics. I have a special interest in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, and I am currently rotating through a Forensic Pathology clerkship.

My undergraduate education was completed at the University of Nevada, Reno, NV, USA. There I majored in English Writing and Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics. My thesis was in the field of Computational and Theoretical Chemistry. I also enjoyed exploring other subjects through classes in theater, piano, philosophy, physics, and more.

I am studying for my fifth dan in Tae Kwon Do.
