Truth Seekers (commonly known as TS) was founded by spirit medium Lee Long on Sunday 2nd April 2006, it began as a small online community discussion forum[1] and its popularity wasn't anything to write home about to begin with for quite a long time, within the first year of being on the internet over 100 members slowly found their way to Truth Seekers[1] and reached 2,000 posts. In the beginning TS weren't known as Truth Seekers as it is now, the name PsychicsUK lasted from the launch of the forum until a good few months later when it was then renamed to Psychix[1] which lasted until early 2007 when Truth Seekers was instated and has since become its permanent identity. Truth Seekers fits in perfectly with what the group is here for and what it aims to achieve.
It goes without saying that TS have big ambitions, one of which in particular is to create a strong foundation for true psychics and mediums, not just here in the United Kingdom but worldwide. It aims to only provide its services to genuine psychics and mediums, TS do not tolerate any fraudulent mediums, psychics, tarot readers....etc, TS have the intention to rule out any frauds, we will not shy away from naming names either, it is in their belief high time that honest and genuine psychics and mediums stand together and help put a stop to fraudulence in mediumship and any other area relating to spiritual matters. Their mediums selected to be known as TS Mediums & Psychics are those who are very well acquainted with TS and know for a fact that they are genuine in their claims. Anyone who abuses the site while making false claims will not be tolerated and will be dealt with in a way that the TS administrators see fit.

[edit] Notable works
In 2006, Truth Seekers conducted its first interview with the creator and writer of ITV1's[2][3] supernatural drama series Afterlife, Stephen Volk.
In 2007 the founder of TS wrote a revealing article about spiritualism: I'm proud to say that I do not call myself a spiritualist, why would I want to associate myself to something that's just an utter lie? Or am I being overly harsh here? Maybe I am, but I've experienced lies and deceit and it angers me, also knowing that other genuine mediums are being deprived of a spiritual community. I've learned three sad factors within spiritualism:
People harbour complete jealousy, you can't trust hardly anyone, and churches are often controlled by frauds. I've noticed how awfully trapped in the past spiritualism is, so it needs to be brought into the 21st century. When I first attended the spiritualist churches, I found it difficult to develop because certain people running them didn't like the thought of a, then, 20 year old developing quicker than they were. So they prevented me from doing platform work...etc, it was all out of jealousy which is pathetic, what's to be envious over? As a medium I've taken a vow to my spirit friends that never shall I feed any ounce of ego from myself or others, I aim to remain true to my path. When people compliment me after readings, God bless them, I always find it hard to accept, because I see it that it isn't me doing the hard work, it's Spirit, they are the hard working ones who have very graciously picked me to use as their mediator for the messages they wish for me to convey.
Spiritualism has very much irritated me, because there's so many people in it for themselves, which I find sickening, and it is also annoying to see certain people having their favourites within the developing groups, sorry it shouldn't be like that - end of. Spiritualism needs a big wake up call, it's the 21st century not the 20th century, times change. The hymns need to go, the word 'church' needs to go and be replaced with a word like 'sanctuary', so much needs to be changed. The way spiritualism is, it is very easy for frauds to get their way into it and even control it - believe me I know! God I must sound like a grumpy old lady having a right old rant, but someone needs to, because no one else seems to be speaking out and wanting to change spiritualism for the greater good - what it's really about. Spirit are not happy with most of the spiritualist churches.
I've visited spiritualist churches that are very welcoming, friendly and bring a good name to spiritualism[4] and what it stands for. Long may these kind of churches live on because there's not many of them. To all those fakes out there and if they're reading this, then I say to them, one day I'll be coming after you, you've been warned. I want to put an end to fraudulent mediums, psychics...etc the lot, high time we give spiritualism a wake up call. One day, this will happen, believe me. If all of us honest and true mediums join forces, we can make a difference, we can put the spiritual back into spiritualism. -- by Lee Long, 12th November 2007.
