Trustive is a wireless hotspot access provider or ‘aggregator’ with a network of over 30,000 hotspots. Through roaming agreements, the company aims to meet the end-user demand for access to a global network of wireless hotspots. Trustive’s unified wireless internet access service aims to remove complexity for users by providing easy, one-click access to its network with the same familiar log in, password and billing procedure.
Trustive has roaming agreements with more than 70 wireless internet service providers including The Cloud, Telefonica, SFR, Vodafone Italia, Vodafone Netherlands, Swisscom Mobile and KPN Hotspots. Coverage includes all major European airports – London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Berlin, Rome, Milan and 80 other European destinations.
Trustive has both a Retail and Wholesale division. Trustive Retail targets the consumer and small and medium enterprise (SME) market offering both subscription and pre-paid access services. Trustive has also developed its own software called MyHotspotter which enables users to connect and log in at WiFi hotspots with one click.
Trustive Wholesale provides subscriber owners, such a fixed-line operators, mobile operators and ISPs with global wireless internet access capability, by offering roaming services for unified clearing, billing and interconnection. In addition, to its WiFi activities Trustive is a member of theWiMAX Forum and a partner of the WiMAX Spectrum Owners Alliance (WiSOA) to help develop industry-wide roaming standards. The company is also taking an active role in the development of roaming between WiMAX networks and WiFi roaming partners.
Trustive is a privately-held company that was created in 2003, with headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and R&D facilities in Sophia Antipolis, France.
