Truly
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Truly was a band formed in the wake of the grunge era, featuring, former Soundgarden bassist Hiro Yamamoto, one-time Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel and singer Robert Roth. They released two full-length studio albums: "Fast Stories... from Kid Coma" in 1995 and "Feeling You Up" in 1998. They were notable for their dense, bass-heavy sound, despite only being a three-piece, recalling Black Sabbath and Yamamoto's previous band. Despite a fair amount of critical acclaim, they had limited commercial success.
Their final release was "Twilight Curtains" in 2000, a mixture of new and unreleased songs and demos.
