This isn't very good as definitions go, but I didn't like a red link to an important concept like this and tried to put something in, I'm not very familiar with the ways of Wiki, but am planning to do some more linky things and hope other people will help fill things in. It's been about a year since I read the books and I've been reading up on things prior to reading the new one, and as I like Ishamael and Moridin I didn't want this overlooked.
Reply:
It's been a year since I've read the books as well, but you might wish to add the fact that True Power is only accessed with permission from the Dark One. Probably obvious, but True Power also cannot be detected by One Power users, similar to how male channelers cannot see weaves fashioned from saidar or female channelers unable to see weaves of saidin.
[edit] New canon
I've added a plethora of new data on the True Power for the curious. There is a small amount of speculation present, which I understand is a naughty thing, yet I feel this is justified as it improves the readability of the article, the enjoyment of the series and the worth of the article to lead people down a couple of the likliest paths the plot holes lead to. I also took the liberty of correcting the grammatical errors present on the page, and tried to avoid slipping into actual paraphrasing while doing so, keeping to the spirit of the original text. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.81.176.254 (talk) 14:22, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
