[edit] House Church

Why is there nothing about the fact that this is a Chinese house church? The Jade Knight 20:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

I have found some useful information here about Chinese house churches Jose77 23:24, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edits

I made a series of edits. To the people in this church who are editing this, may I suggest that you are doing your church a great disservice by posting here, and I strongly advise you not to continue unless you can post encyclopedic facts. Wikipedia is not a place to proselytize. You have your own Web site to do that. Quite frankly, abusing a service like Wikipedia only will draw the annoyance, if not the anger, of this community, and you'll do a lot more damage to your cause than benefit. Preach to your next door neighbor, preach through your own Web site, but don't preach through Wikipedia. -- Unsigned User:66.94.27.13

Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia and any denomination is allowed to inform others of their beliefs.

Inform, yes, but proselytize, NO. Inform people, but stop trying to convince or persuade them. Stick to NPOV, and if you don't know what that means, learn it before you post on Wikipedia. If your doctrines are really the truth, the facts will speak for themselves--trying to make this article a sermon rather than an encyclopedia page will only hurt your cause. Trust me on this one.

I've read the article and found that the information given are exhaustively informative yet still in the NPOV zone rather than proselytizing. if you make reference and comparison to other articles about other churches, they are all telling the same thing:their beliefs. one thing wikipedia is different that other encyclopedia is that people are allowed to write articles freely where the reliability of the materials is unknown. it is up to the readers to decide whether they can accept the materials provided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.48.116.75 (talk) 09:50, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

This is the stupidest justification, I have ever read in the wikipedia. Some one will write an article telling "true jesus church" is the only true church, all others are fake. People can also write articles on greatness of Hitler, greatness of islam over christianity and whatever other topics to spread their propoganda. Every one will write their own thoughts, then wikipedia won't be encyclopedia but a blog. There are many blogs available to write article freely. Wikepdia is not the place to write freely, but to write responsibly giving facts and reference. Each and every information provided in any article in wikipedia should be varifiable. I believe you are the same person who has written this article. You use 2-3 different accounts to justify your propoganda. It is sad to see how some people abuse wikipedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.69.192.140 (talk) 01:01, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] See also sections

I chanced to look at TJC articles today, and observed:

  • There is one article on the TJC, and nine articles on the TJC in individual countries.
  • Those ten articles are all listed OK in Category:True Jesus Church.
  • most of the country-specific TJC articles are short and stubbish, most have See also sections which mention some (but not all) of the other TJC per-country articles. I have some suggestions to improve this situation. I cast these as suggestions rather than just going out and making the changes because TJC is not a subject of interest for me and I am reluctant to make sweeping changes.

Suggestions:

  • Remove those incomplete lists of links in the per-country articles.
  • Place {{main|True Jesus Church}} at the head of each per-country article.
  • (Optional) List the per-country articles in the See also section of the main TJC article (just the Categorization ought to be sufficient, but some readers will miss noting that).
