Dear sir,

I noticed the article on This School has been amended. It reads "The True Buddha School (真佛宗, Zhen Fo Zong) is a new Tantric Buddhist (or Vajrayana) sect with influence from Sutrayana and Taoism."

I would ask that you check on the statement written. As far I am aware this school is not a recognised tradition in Vajrayana, or for that mattter, in any other buddhist tradition."

I also refer to the article in Wiki on Lu Sheng Yan "Contorvery :After a meeting in November 1996 with the Dalai Lama, Lu asserted that the Dalai Lama had endorsed him as an authority in Tibetan Buddhism. This was rebutted by sources close to the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, who asserted that it was merely an individual meeting. His claims that he has millions of disciples has also been heavily questioned by Tibetan sources, as well as his claim to have attained lineage from various Tibetan lineages. The source also dismissed claims made by Lu that he had been afforded an audience of between 1500 and 2000 lamas upon a 1996 visit to Tibet and India. Since then, Tibetan monasteries have been advised to avoid contact with Lu, so as to diminish the possibility that they could be misrepresented for his own benefit.[9]"

Thank you.

This entire page (as well as the one on Lian-sheng) reads too much like propaganda. There is far too much controversy about TBS and Lian-sheng not to mention it for a balanced POV. Anyone willing to contribute here would be most welcome I think, provided it does not boil down to thinly veiled insults. Also, 165.247.103.94, you seem to be a supporter of Lian-sheng, which is fine. However, it does not mean that everything said against or in criticism of is bogus. The SHC incident is still being discussed and IS worth mentioning because it is part of the legacy associated with TBS thus far. -- Hidoshi 11:18, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Hidoshi, you may not be aware that Wikipedia has very strict rules about criticism of this sort. Please see WP:LIVING and WP:V. In short, if this controversy is not mentioned in a published book or peer-reviewed journal which can be cited, it cannot be included in the articles. Web-only sources for controversial material attacking a living person is strictly not allowed under Wikipedia policies. —Hanuman Das 01:29, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
