[edit] Summary

Simulated sound of radio traffic using MDC-1200 leading push-to-talk ID with data muting option and synthesized voice talent. Simulates an MDC-1200 equipped radio configured for push-to-talk ID with Private Line TM (CTCSS) on 186.2 Hz and (typical of Mototorola) squelch tail eliminator. A non-Motorola radio, or one without data muting, would hear the entire data burst instead of a short chirp.

[edit] Script

Mobile: "Seven fifty two to base." Base: "Go ahead 752." Mobile: "I'm done with that pick up at Preston Paper Products. Do you have anything else for me?" Base: "Head over to Ackerman Company, 233 Main St., 2-3-3 Main. They've got two skids; twelve hundred pounds; ready now; close at five." Mobile: "Okay. Going to 2-3-3 Main. 752, Out. Base: "Base clear."
