Troy Van Leeuwen (born January 5, 1970 in Los Angeles, California)[1] is an American guitarist who currently plays lap steel guitar, electric guitar, keyboards and sometimes bass in Queens of the Stone Age. Van Leeuwen began his career in his first band Jester with vocalist Eric Book,[citation needed] and played guitar for Failure, 60 Cycle and A Perfect Circle before joining Queens of the Stone Age in 2002.[2] Van Leeuwen also fronts his own band, Enemy.
Troy Van Leeuwen Yamaha is home to Troy van Leeuwen's own signature guitar, the SA503 TVL. Van Leeuwen has navigated his way through a variety of musical genres and has left his indelible mark in each of them. From session work with Depeche Mode, Korn, and Limp Bizkit to his role in A Perfect Circle, Troy has mastered it all.

Van Leeuwen uses hollowbody guitars including several Yamaha AES1500s, his signature SA503 TVL, other Gibson and Yamaha hollowbodies, a Gibson Les Paul, a Fender Telecaster Custom, a Fender Jaguar and a Chandler lap steel guitar. He also plays and endorses VOX Classic Plus amplifiers. [3]
