Born in London and raised in Amsterdam, Troy's inclination towards entertainment began at age three with tap dance lessons. Disciplined dance training followed in many styles. At a young age, her dancing career took her all over Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa. She's performed in everything from classical ballets to a Las Vegas-style show girl production. One career highlight came when she landed a role in the London production of Andrew Lloyd Weber's "Star Light Express."
Troy's acting skills are just as fine tuned and wide-ranging as her dancing abilities. She studied at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Italia Conti Stage School and WAC College of Performing Arts and Media in London. To date, Troy has been casted in eight professional theatre productions, appeared on six television programs, and has graced the silver screen in eleven short and feature length films, a few of which she helped to write and produce, with award winning results.
Troy's most notable role was in EastEnders as Nina Harris and she later appeared in another London-based soap opera, Family Affairs, as Kim Davies for several episodes.
