[edit] with BC Mures

He played for Bc Mures almost two consecutive seasons. In the 2006/2007 regular season he played in 25 games, averaging 33,7 minutes, 14,2 points and 9,1 rebounds. His team finished on the 9th place in the Romanian first division, being just one win away from the playoffs.

Selvey has been very popular with fans around the team, mostly because of his down-to-earth attitude and friendly behaviour. He is fondly referred to as "Big fella" by the BC Mures faithful. Unfortunately he was released by the management, a decision regretted by many fans and Selvey himself. In the 2007-2008 season he played in 13 games averaging 28 minutes, 8,3 points, 6,53 rebounds, 1,23 blocks and 2,46 turnovers.

The fans and the management (including coach Mihai Corui) decided to withdrawn the jersey #44 in respect to the player and wonderful person that Troy Selvey is.
