Tropical Storm Ike

The name Ike has been used for two tropical cyclones in the northwest Pacific Ocean.
- 1981's Typhoon Ike (1981 TY 04) - A Category 1 Typhoon that impacted Taiwan as a Tropical Storm in June 1981.
- 1984's Typhoon Ike (1984 TY 13W) - Significant Category 4 Typhoon that affected Philippines and China, killing up to 3,000 people.
The name Ike was retired after the 1984 season, and was replaced by Ian.
Ike will be also used in the Atlantic Ocean: Isidore was retired after the 2002 Atlantic hurricane season, and will be replaced by Ike in the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season.
