Tropical Hut

Tropical Hut is a typical burger chain. This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, fast-food type joint in the Philippines. Tropical Hut didn't start out as a fast food restaurant but rather a grocery store. It was started and is presently owned by the Que family. It grew and rapidly expanded into a supermarket. In 1962 there was an idea of a coffee shop within the supermarket so later that year Tropical Hut Hamburger was launched.

Today Tropical Hut Food Market Inc. has seven supermarket branches, 50 hamburger outlets and four convenience stores to serve its customers.

Recent store performance shows that there is increase in sales and income despite the economic crisis. There are recorded profits that were impressive. There is long range planning for the future. Their success through the years is not actually a secret. The reason for them to be this long in business is the down to earth style of service they provide, supply customers products at with the best possible quality at the lowest possible price. There are courteous staffs at all their branches.
