Tropical Gangsters (released in the US as Wise Guy) is the 1982 album by Kid Creole and the Coconuts. It was their most successful release, peaking at #2 in the UK and spinning off the hit singles "Annie, I'm Not Your Daddy", also a #2 hit on the singles chart, "Stool Pigeon" and "I'm a Wonderful Thing, Baby". In the US the album was retitled Wise Guy and while nowhere as successful (peaking at #145) it still represented their commercial breakout. "I'm a Wonderful Thing, Baby" also briefly hit the US dance charts.
The 2002 CD reissue added numerous bonus tracks of rare 12" versions and B-sides, notably "Double on Back" from the flipside of the "Stool Pigeon" 12" release.
