Tronchetto

Tronchetto is an island in the city of Venice, Italy. Unlike others in the city, it has no historic buildings, having been bombed by Austria-Hungary in the Great War. It is used as a car park for tourists who can't bring their vehicles into the city. Tronchetto was recently connected to Stazione di Santa Lucia by Ponte di Calatrava.
