The Trolmérida is a combination bus rapid transit and funicular system that serves Mérida, Venezuela and surrounding communities.

Route 1

The first 14 of a planned 33 stationed trolley bus route (18,2 km in length) were inaugurated on June 18th 2007. This route serves Ejido and Mérida.

The following stations are in full operation:

  • Pozo Hondo

  • Las Cruces
  • Pan de Azúcar
  • La Parroquia (Proposed Route 2 Transfer point)
  • La Mara
  • Alto Chama
  • Carrizal
  • Museo de Ciencias
  • Las Tapias
  • El Acuario
  • San Antonio
  • Pie del Llano.

Route 1 construction continues on the following stations:

  • Simón Bolívar (Transfer stop to Line 2)

Route 2

This route is in the planning stages and is expected to be 12 km long with 3 common stations alongside or crossing route 1
