- November 1, 2008 - The official start date of the Australian region and South Pacific cyclone seasons.
- November 2, 2007 - Hurricane Noel (pictured) becomes extratropical after causing 163 deaths and heavy damage in the Greater Antilles.

- November 3, 1997 - Typhoon Linda (pictured) hit the Malay peninsula as a minimal typhoon. The storm brought heavy rain and caused 330 deaths.
- November 4, 2001 - Hurricane Michelle (pictured) made landfall on Cuba as a Category 4 hurricane, causing about $1.8 billion of damage on the island.
- November 5, 1991 - Tropical Storm Thelma (pictured), also called Uring, made landfall on Samar in the Philippines. Thelma killed an estimated 6,000 people, making it the deadliest tropical cyclone in the Philippines.
- November 6, 1988 - Typhoon Skip reached its peak strength with 230 km/h (145 mph) winds, just east of the Philippines. Skip made landfall soon after killing about 100 people.

- November 7, 1984 - Hurricane Klaus (pictured) hit eastern Puerto Rico shortly before it reached its peak strength. Klaus brought heavy rain to the island, exceeding 25 inches (635 mm) at one location.
- November 8, 1989 - Typhoon Gay (pictured) made landfall in India to the north of Madras, after entering the Bay of Bengal from the Pacific Ocean.

- November 9, 1991 - Hurricane Nora (pictured) reached hurricane strength in the East Pacific to the south of Baja California, becoming the first November hurricane in the basin since 1966.
- November 10, 2001 - Typhoon Lingling (pictured) reaches its peak strength in the South China Sea with a central pressure of 940 hPa (mbar). Lingling was responsible for about 200 deaths in the Philippines and Vietnam.
- November 11, 1962 - Typhoon Karen (pictured) passed directly over Guam, bringing gusts of over 200 mph (370 km/h) to the island and destroying about 95% of the houses there.
- November 12, 1970 - The Bhola tropical cyclone (pictured) made landfall on the densely populated Ganges Delta in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), killing an estimated 500,000 people.
- November 13, 1977 - Typhoon Kim made landfall in the Philippines with 210 km/h (130 mph) winds. Flash flooding claimed over 55 lives and caused severe damage.
- November 14, 1990 - Typhoon Mike (pictured), also called Typhoon Ruping, restrengthened in the South China Sea after killing over 250 people in the Philippines.
- November 15, 2008 - The official start date of the South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season.
- November 16, 2007 - Cyclone Sidr (pictured) dissipates after striking Bangladesh, where it kills over 3,000 people and leaves heavy damage. Sidr is the deadliest cyclone in the North Indian Ocean since the 1999 Orissa cyclone.
- November 17, 1999 - Hurricane Lenny, the strongest November storm to occur in the Atlantic, struck the Saint Croix at peak strength, causing heavy damage there (pictured).
- November 18, 1994 - Hurricane Gordon (pictured) reached its peak strength as a Category 1 hurricane to the east of North Carolina. Gordon had previously killed over 1000 people in Haiti.
- November 19, 1979 - The 1977 Andhra Pradesh Cyclone made landfall on the Andhra Pradesh, India coastline with winds of about 210 km/h (130 mph), killing over 10,000 people and destroying 40% of India's food grains.

- November 20, 1985 - Hurricane Kate (pictured) reached Category 3 strength in the Gulf of Mexico, becoming the latest major hurricane in the Atlantic basin. It made landfall in Florida the next day.

- November 21, 1992 - Typhoon Gay (pictured) reached its peak strength, with winds of 300 km/h (185 mph) in the open Pacific.
- November 22, 1981 - Typhoon Irma (track pictured) reached its peak with winds of 250 km/h (155 mph]) in the Philippine Sea as it approached its landfall in the northern Philippines. Irma caused over 200 fatalities on Luzon.
- November 23, 1982 - Hurricane Iwa (pictured) reached its peak with winds of 90 mph (145 km/h) to the southwest of Hawaii. Iwa hit Kauai the next day causing about $200 million in damages.
- November 24, 1969 - Hurricane Martha (track pictured) made landfall in Panama with 70 mph (115 km/h) winds, becoming the only tropical cyclone on record to hit the country.
- November 25, 1987 - Typhoon Nina (pictured) hit southern Luzon with sustained winds of 265 km/h (165 mph). Nina killed over 500 people in the Philippines and its storm surge destroyed fourteen villages.
- November 26, 1974 - Typhoon Irma reached its peak strength with 215 km/h (135 mph) winds to the east of the Philippines.
- November 27, 1982 - Typhoon Pamela briefly peaked as a 185 km/h (115 mph) typhoon as it passed through the Marshall Islands. Pamela caused damage throughout several Pacific Islands.
- November 28, 2005 - Tropical Storm Delta became extratropical as it passed to the north of the Canary Islands. It was responsible for more than $350 million of damage in the islands (pictured).
- November 29, 2004 - Cyclone Agni (pictured) reached its peak strength in the Arabian Sea and was named by the India Meteorological Department. The previous day the storm was very close to the equator, with part of its circulation in both hemispheres.
November 30, 2006 - Typhoon Durian (Reming) (pictured) makes several landfalls in the central Philippines, killing over 720 people and causing over $100 million in damage. Durian made landfall in Vietnam a week later, killing 80 and causing an additional $400 million in damage.
