- June 11, 2005 - Tropical Storm Arlene (pictured) made landfall on the Florida Panhandle causing about $12 million of damage throughout the eastern United States.
- June 10, 1974 - Typhoon Dinah hit Luzon in the Philippines. Dinah killed 73 people in the Philippines, Hainan and Vietnam.
- June 9, 1934 - The 1934 Central America Hurricane made its second landfall in British Honduras (now Belize) as a minimal hurricane. The storm killed between 1000 and 3000 in Central America.
- June 8, 1966 - Hurricane Alma hit western Cuba causing severe flooding. The storm claimed a total of 90 lives and caused over $200 million of damage.
- June 7, 1973 - Hurricane Ava reached its peak strength as a Category 5 hurricane, becoming the only Pacific hurricane to reach that strength in June.
