Trkaj

Trkaj (born Rok Terkaj, March 1, 1984) is a rapper from Slovenia. He is well known for wining the Slovenian Freestyle Championship back in 2003 alongside with fellow rapper N'toko.

His prize was a record deal at Rapnika, so he released his debut album V času enga diha the following year. The album was a commercial success, but it lacked some critical acclaim, indicating, that Trkaj re-recorded a lot of his songs that were already on the internet as demo songs[1]. Nevertheless, it still remains the best mainstream rap album in Slovenia.

Trkaj is praised for his freestyles, still, according to some critics, remaining the number 1 Slovenian freestyler. He is known for using his freestyle technique to sharpen his skills.

In 2005 he announced a new album to be released in March 2006 on his birthday[2], but the album wasn't released due to some complications with the label. It was rescheduled to a year later and finally released in December 2007, called Rapostol, what is referred to apostle in rap music.
