[edit] Article discrepancy
- Stubsensor never edits an article, only humans do. See the how to help section for the instructions to the volunteers.
If you are another contributor who believes the stub tag has been removed from an article in error this is the place for you. Please list the article, the reason, and sign your comment. The goal is to work together to make sure stubsensor incorrectly locates as few articles as possible and make sure the instructions for the volunteers are as concise as possible. [edit] Articles with lists in them
I just noticed this and wonder if articles that have long lists but little substance should still retain their stub status? CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 17:43, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- I would say the article you reference is just past being a stub with out the list. But this one History is a list and I used a modified edit summary 'This looks like a list so it would not be a stub, Stubsensor cleanup project; [[User:Triddle/stubsensor/20070716|you can help!]]!. I make this based on WP:LIST#Lead_section which says "a lead section should be provided which briefly and clearly describes the list". I take that to mean that list is not expected to have content that significantly surpasses WP:STUB so a stub tag would never seem to be appropriate. Jeepday (talk) 02:04, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- I agree: I'd argue that an article like that where there's lots of lists is more in dire need of a {{cleanup}} than being called a stub. --Masem 18:47, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
