The explosion of information on the web, and in Wikipedia itself, raises the challenge of objectivity, verifiability, and ultimately, truth. Much of what appears in articles these days is subjective, and expressive of opinions, views, perspectives, but not hard facts. Equally, references are sometimes lacking, or hard to verify.
My goal is to identify crucial references to notable observations in articles of interest to me, and try to see if they can be otherwise corroborated than over the web, i.e. in hard-copy in the public domain --- in original documents or in authenticated bibliographical or official depository references. That's......Tricky!
I'm a proud mother of five children, who has spent much of her life inculcating honesty and truth in young ones. I am a former and now part-time researcher, focussing on the British Isles and mainland European topics, and I live in London, and I've decided that in 2007, I'm going to become an even better Wikipedian!
Hopefully, you too! :))
