Trivial Act was founded in early 90's by guitarist B. Andreassen and H. Salvesen in Arendal Norway. Coming from two different musical backgrounds did the music have a great diversity. The influences from great progressive metalbands like Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Queensryche and more gave base for the music which lead to the 1997 release "Mindscape" which in 2006 was described as a classic release in Norwegian Metal by Scream Magazine. Today, 10 years after "Mindscape", the work has started for the follow up which is hopefully to be released in November 2007.
