Trisquel GNU/Linux is a Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux and sponsored by the 'Xunta of Galicia' and the University of Vigo.
There are three versions in an install-Live CD mode:

- Linux Kernel version 2.6.18.6
- Common software of GNU Project.
- GNOME 2.14 / IceWM+Rox
- KDE 3.5
- OpenOffice.org 2
- Iceweasel complety preconfigured, based on Firefox 2.
- Wine
- AIGLX
- Compiz
- Ability to coexist with other operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS X.
- 1700 drivers.
- Works in 32-bit and 64-bit processors, and new Macs (with Intel processors).
