Trisquel GNU/Linux is a Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux and sponsored by the 'Xunta of Galicia' and the University of Vigo.

There are three versions in an install-Live CD mode:

• TrisGuel, with GNOME 2.14 (AIGLX + Compiz)
• TrisKel, with KDE 3.5.
• Trisguel PeMe, for Enterprises

• Linux Kernel version 2.6.18.6
• Common software of GNU Project.
• GNOME 2.14 / IceWM+Rox
• KDE 3.5
• OpenOffice.org 2
• Iceweasel complety preconfigured, based on Firefox 2.
• Wine
• AIGLX
• Compiz
• Ability to coexist with other operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS X.
• 1700 drivers.
• Works in 32-bit and 64-bit processors, and new Macs (with Intel processors).
