Trish White

Trish White is an Australian politician who has been the sitting Labor member for the electoral district of Taylor since 1994.
Prior to her election in to politics, White gained degrees in Engineering and Arts, from the University of Queensland and the University of Adelaide, after which she worked for nine years as an electronics and communications networks engineer, the latter of those years with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation.
From 2002 to 2005, White has held portfolios from time to time including Education and Children's Services, Member of the Executive Council, Transport, Science and Information Economy, and Urban Development and Planning.
The 2006 election saw White increase her margin to 27.4%.
