Tripura Institute of Technology

Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) is an Engineering college in the city of Agartala set up by the Government of Tripura in 2007. The former Polytechnic college has been approved by the AICTE as full fledged engineering educational institute. There were 240 seats on offer for its first batch in 2007.

The All India Council of Technical education(AICTE) has approval to TIT to offer four courses (Degree and Diploma) from the 2007 academic session.

TIT is located at its own sprawling campus in Narsingarh, a suburb of Agartala. The campus is situated 2 km from the Agartala Airport.
