Trio Amadeus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Formed by the Brazilian musicians Fabio Lopes (voice/acoustic guitar), Marcelle Chagas (voice/harp) and Rafael Cheib (guitar/acoustic guitar), Trio Amadeus appeared in October 2003 with a novel proposal: to give a more contemporary interpretation of music of composers such as Bach, Mozart and Bizet. This modern approach to such music was achieved by the use of electric and acoustic guitar instead of traditional orchestral instruments. The arrangements preserve the original music structure, but the modern instruments give a popular tone to the songs. This transformation provides classical music of quality to listeners.
