Trinity College London is an examinations board with strong links to Trinity College of Music. It provides qualifications in English language learning and teaching and across a range of disciplines in the performing arts and arts education.
Assessments in English language learning and teaching delivered by Trinity College London ESOL have been offered since 1938. Certificates comprise English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), for non-native speakers of English, and Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), for teachers of non-native speakers of English.
Assessments for the performing arts in music and drama are delivered through Trinity Guildhall and have been offered since 1877. Qualifications are offered in music, speech and drama and dance diplomas, reflecting the board's historic link to the conservatoire Trinity College of Music and a more recent association with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
