Trimeresurus flavomaculatus is a venomous pitviper species found in the Philippines. Three subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here.[3]

Found on the Philippine islands of Agutayan, Batan, Camiguin, Catanduanes, Dinagat, Jolo, Leyte, Luzon, Mindanao, Mindoro, Negros and Polillo. The type locality given is "Philippene Islands." Leviton (1964) proposed that this be restricted to "Luzon Island."[1]

Gumprecht (2001, 2002) moves T. f. halieus to the synonymy of T. f. flavomaculatus.[2]
