Trillium stamineum (red trillium) is a plant in the trillium family, Melanthiaceae.

Trillium stamineum, also known as the Blue Ridge wakerobin, is a herbaceous plant with whorled, marbled, simple leaves, on short, green stems. It is found in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. The flowers are dark red (some sources report more chocolate color), borne in spring.[2] [3]
