Trill Entertainment is a record label located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana which emphasizes rappers native to Louisiana. Artists such as Lil' Boosie, Webbie,Pete, Big Head, and Foxx are signed to this label.

Trill Entertainment launched in 2001 with a street certified endorsement from U.G.K.’s Pimp C. Business owners Mel and Turk saw the lack of true street music coming from the South and collaborated to bring a label that put the sound of Baton Rouge out. That year, Lil Boosie dropped the label’s first release "For My Thugz" and followed up with an album introducing himself and Webbie with Pimp C Presents: Ghetto Stories and later Gangsta Musik which brought wider recognition across the nation.

“There ain't no stopping me and Webbie,” states Lil’ Boosie. “The fans know… when we are comin, that’s a hit. No questions asked.”

Still underestimated because of what some consider simple beats and rhymes, Trill Entertainment resembles the successes of fellow Louisiana indie labels No Limit and Cash Money Records.

Trill Fam: Survival of the Fittest features the break-out hit "Wipe Me Down (Remix)" by Foxx featuring Lil’ Boosie and Webbie; "Adios" and "Do It, Stick It" - all club bangers that relate to the street as well as the dance floor.

Trill’s production style uses heavy drum machines, live bass and guitar, synthesizers and keyboards.

In 2007, Trill Entertainment will follow up with a release by Foxx (Street Gossip). In 2008, they will have releases by Big Head (The Dome Doctor), 3 Deep (365 Days), Webbie(Savage Life 2), and an untitled release by Lil' Boosie as well as a movie, Ghetto Stories: The Movie starring Boosie, Webbie and Foxx as well as Nicole Alexander (aka Hoopz), Tyrin Turner (Caine from Menace to Society), Bun B and Paul Wall.

Keeping up with the multimedia trends, Trill Entertainment has also annexed a production company named "Wright Studios" based out of Baton Rouge. Trumping the production companies quote "directors" , Trill has put together its own team of producers known as the The Dream Team. Wright Studios, operated by Chris Comeaux and Brian Wright, will use John McDougal, a well know director of photography in the Baton Rouge area to keep the shooting quality of the videos at a high scale. However, it is apparent that once the shots leave McDougals hands and enter into the post production world of Wright Studios and the affiliates, problems arise. This has proven to undercut the creativity of the so-called production company Wright Studios, and subsequently removing all credit and essentially hurting the quality of the videos and films that the companies have been collaborating on together.
