Trident Entertainment is a Malaysian based media company specializing in distribution/production of recorded music encompassing primarily Jazz, World and Classical Music and is a major player in the Malaysian Music Scene.
Founded by reclusive businessman Prabhu Ganesh (b.October 28th, year unknown) known largely for his social work in implementing music education in rural areas, Trident privately held by the founder remains the only firm of its kind to bring grand-philharmonic style music production to ourdoor/live audiences in breathtaking acoustic and audiophile setting, the firm is said to own almost 24 of the legendary L'Acoustic Speakers which is widely regarded as the(PORSCHE of SPEAKERS).
The firm according to speculation dominates about 61% of all classical music released in Malaysia and is said to be expanding rapidly in India, an ongoing deal with the one of the World's largest producer of Classical music NAXOS puts it right on top with the major players Warner,Sony and Universal of the first mentioned Classical segment also being distributed by Trident.
