Tricholaema is a bird genus in the African barbet family (Lybiidae) which was formerly included in the Capitonidae and sometimes in the Ramphastidae.
It contains the following species:
- Hairy-breasted Barbet, Tricholaema hirsuta
- Red-fronted Barbet, Tricholaema diademata
- Miombo Barbet, Tricholaema frontata
- Pied Barbet, Tricholaema leucomelas
- Spot-flanked Barbet, Tricholaema lacrymosa
- Black-throated Barbet, Tricholaema melanocephala
