Trichiana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 70 km north of Venice and about 10 km southwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,569 and an area of 43.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Trichiana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Trichiana, Pialdier, Casteldardo, Cavassico inferiore, Cavassico Superiore, Morgan, Frontin, Carfagnoi, S. Antonio Tortal, Confos, Campedei, and Pranolz.
Trichiana borders the following municipalities: Cison di Valmarino, Limana, Mel, Revine Lago, Sedico.
