From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Triangle Metro Zoo was a small privately operated zoo that operated from 1998 until 2006, just North of Raleigh, North Carolina.
The zoo originated from Larry Seibel's long experience in breeding exotic animals. It was situated in a heavily forested area astride a small stream. The "triangle" name came from the nearby Research Triangle Park. Its owner closed the zoo in February 2006, citing money and personal problems[1].
