Triad Securities is a prime brokerage and trading company on Wall St established in 1976.

[edit] Small Funds

Triad Securities is the largest institution on Wall Street which caters to small hedge funds. Most prime brokers won't court funds and trading firms with assets under 5 million. This is Triad's primary market.

At the time of this writing, they manage only $400 million in assets but have over 300 institutional clients.

[edit] IPO Service

Triad has a reputation as one of the leaders in IPO meta-analysis, a niche area of the finance industry which looks at trends in IPO frequency, pricing disparity and stability. They are not an investment bank, and they do not take IPO allocations.

Another leader in this field is Renaissance Capital, creator of the IPOP index, the only published index of the performance of IPO purchasing as a trading strategy .

[edit] Location

They are located on Wall Street in the historic Trinity Building, which was one of the lucky few buildings adjacent to the World Trade centers that wasn't severely damaged during their collapse.
