The Sagem 6000 ECU is a less powerful unit than the Sagem 10000. The mitigation of the "slump" had little to do with the change of the ECU model and more to do with revised fuel mapping. I believe the Sagem 10000 had lambda sensor capability, which was never used on the T595. 69.158.8.231 18:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

(Admission of fault from original writer: My mistake... it was actually the MC1000, one less zero. And of course, new fuel mappings were in order to take full advantage of the new ICU, that goes without saying... I'm in contact with Hinckley to find out specifics about the change. [edit] Cleanup sorely needed

I'll be attempting to whip this article into shape somewhat.. I'll model it off the Triumph Daytona 675 page for consistency. NathanLee 14:58, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

ok, have finished migrating the specs into the similar table structure to the 675 page. Added a review section. Still remaning: references/citations etc. NathanLee 16:35, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New Category for British Motorcycles

As part of the Motorcycling WikiProject I am working though all the missing articles and stubs for British Bikes. To make things easier to sort out I have created a category for British motorcycles. Please will you add to any British motorcycle pages you find or create. It will also help to keep things organised if you use the Template:Infobox Motorcycle or add it where it is missing. I've linked the Category to the Commons British Motorcycles so you could help with matching pics to articles or adding the missing images to the Commons - take your camera next time you go to a rally! [edit] Specification Corrections Made and Additional Information Added

I have made some minor technical and grammatical corrections, and some major additions specifically regarding the '02 Centennial Edition D955i. I personally think that the overall flow of the article needs to be addressed, as the liter Daytona was one of the bikes, along with the S3, that put the modern Triumph on the map; but the article makes it sound more like a failed attempt of Triumph's.

In addition, I deleted the comment regarding the Daytona 675 as I think it is erroneous to say that “The Triumph Daytona 675 is now considered Triumph's primary Super Sport bike” with the 1050 Speed Triple beating it in horsepower, torque, being comparable in handling, and just as popular as the 675. If there is any disagreement with what I have added/deleted/corrected, I am all ears. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DTell (talk • contribs) 05:31, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
