I have not the faintest idea what is meant by the statement, in the lead, that "Trinity Sunday also represents the beginning of the Church part of the liturgical year". I suspect this is some very particular local or denominational concept – certainly not a predominant Western tradition. It is the first Sunday of the second part of Ordinary Time (though not the beginning – the Monday after Pentecost has that honour.) Vilĉjo 23:07, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

The Orthodox Churches celebrate Trinity Sunday too, you should update the article to include that.
