I've added a short history and the feeling of riding I'and others have experienced. Next to that a small part about Jimmy Evans and the 3CV World Sports Federation. I think it didn't change back into an advertisement. 20:15, 04 september 2006

Bye-bye advertisement. Should read much better and be more NPOV.Sabar 10:19, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

its not really a cross between a trike and a scooter.

The article itself reads almost exactly like a promotional pamphlet - I felt like I was being sold a Trikke, not the sort of article you expect when reading an encyclopedia.

I've trimmed most of the advertorial, which was most of the article. It does need a careful review from someone with relevant knowledge to turn it into a sensible entry. 195.38.86.82 14:37, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

The reason the text "reads like a promotional pamphlet" is because most of it is drawn verbatim from the Trikke official site. Cactus Wren 10:15, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hmm...

Somehow I doubt that this burns a million calories (1000 kcal) an hour, even though it says so on the official site. That's 500 times the healthy daily intake of energy. --Alx xlA 02:34, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

I think you are getting confused. There are 2 (I want to say units of energy, but I don't remember if that is right) measurements called a calorie. There is calorie (with a little c) and Calorie (with a big C). What we eat (and is on food package labels in the US) are big C Calories. 1000c = 1C. From what I know, this is only a problem in the US...the rest of the world uses kcal instead of Calorie. For a better explanation, read the Wikipedia article on calorie —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.207.131.68 (talk) 10:00, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
