My question what do you feel about Louis Riel? EX: He was sane\insane.

[edit] NPOV

This article does not maintain NPOV. There is a heated polemic among legal historians as to whether Riel's trial was properly conducted or not, and this article implicitly but decisively sides with those who say it was not. It should be edited to show both sides of the debate. I added some citations and an "according to critics" clause. I'd like to hear what others have to say, but if no one replies I'll make more extensive edits. (To clarify my position, I agree with the original author that it was *not* properly conducted, but believe that this encyclopedia must be neutral between the two sides.) I agree. The trial is highly controversial and due to NPOV any Wikipedia articles should be as balanced and unbiased as possible. It would help perhaps to note both standard historical views of the trial in the article so readers can draw their own conclusions. Wyldkat Oct 14, 2007
