[edit] Notability of Robert Shelly
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Robert Shelly, by Tdmg (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Robert Shelly seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Robert Shelly, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Robert Shelly itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:24, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shelly
Help! please dont leave it for other people to provide the basic information for your stubs; you can more easily find this material than the overworked admins like me who are trying to judge whether to delete the article. A list of books would be a good start. DGG 21:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

- sorry about where I put it. I saw you were on a project, and it's hard to keep track of everything at once. If you haven't discovered it already, there are quite a number of WP editors not particular impressed by the academic world, and who move very fast; I find it help to at least have a good impressive listing of published works. WorldCat is very convenient for this. :) DGG 02:16, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
