Please do not change the name of Aerith to Aeris. When I played the game, the name was Aeris, but that is not how she was named originally, and that is not how she is named in the article. Do not change it back to Aeris, because it will be reverted. You also deleted the citation for the quote, and removed the small bit about the Cetra and added lines which are subjective. Made to fall in love? If I recall, you could also play the game to get Cloud and Tifa, or even Cloud and Barrett to match up. You should also find a citation, a website, or something, to demonstrate whether or not Aeris was truly one of the most popular RPG characters. And even if you do, don't change her name to Aeris.
