[edit] Helen Terry
Good correction and editing on the Terry article -- I'd been treading cautiously by trying to add references for text already in the article, but on reflection you're absolutely right, it is conjecture and not needed.
Re Terry's leaving Parlophone though, I'm not aware of her having done anything singing wise after this, so I'm not sure that "pared down" is the best description (though "abandoned" is indeed a tad hyperbolic). What are your thoughts on just ending the sentence with "she abandoned the contract." States the facts without undue POV or interpretation. (Haven't changed it yet cos I don't want the article giving the appearance of a one-man show, and it's still better now than before.) Gusworld (talk) 11:41, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi Gusworld (talk), Thanks for the message. Helen did quite a bit of music work after CC. (Max, Leslie Winer (©), Sinead, Jah Wobble and others... as well as appearing a series of John Maybury videos for other artists.) I am in the process of compiling accurate references so the additions to the article won't be in violation. I am also waiting for a photograph (of Helen) from a UK photographer to upload under a creative commons "share w/attribution no commercial use" license. I think this article may rely too heavily on George's book (which Helen has been quoted in the Independent as disagreeing with) and perhaps it would be more balanced with additional references from other sources. Let me know your thoughts on this. --TreeShap (talk) 12:43, 7 April 2008 (UTC)talk
