Trevor Hayes’ career consists of film, tv and stage work for both Canadian and international productions. Film credits include a featured role opposite Heath Ledger and Charlotte Gainsbourg in Todd Haynes' upcoming Bob Dylan bio-pic I'm Not There and the title role in the Chinese production Dr. Norman Bethune which aired on CCTV in China. Bethune is regarded as a national hero in China and the project was shot over the course of six months in the province of Shan-xi, China and Montreal, Canada.
On stage, Trevor has starred as Count Orsini Rosenberg in the Saidye Bronfman's Spring 2007 production of Amadeus helmed by international awarding winning director Alexandre Marine. Trevor recently made his debut with Whip Theatre in Jon Rannells' Peccadilloes at Theatre St. Catherine which garnered him critical acclaim. He previously appeared in Tight Rope's production of Gavin Drummond's Herky Jerky (Theatre St. Catherine). Other stage credits include starring as Cameron in The Foursome for Townships Stage (The Piggery). In 2004, he founded, produced, and starred in Black Rabbit Theatre's production of Cracked (Geordie Space) in Montreal and starred in Dogtooth Theatre Company's production of Jocular Digressions from the Bughouse Mezzanine (Centre for the Arts) in Toronto, both written by Jon Rannells.
