Treo 180

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Treo 180 is a PDA/communication device made by Handspring inc. The 180 was the first in the Treo family of devices that succeeded the Visor family which Handspring discontinued (but which still remains somewhat popular today) in 2004.

The Treo 180 is a Tri-band GSM, flip form factor, with a grayscale screen. It features a full keyboard, and began shipping out to customers in February, 2002. The Treo 180 used the Palm OS, the version was 3.5.2H. The 180 had a 160x160 monochrome screen, 16 MB of internal memory and a 33 mHz Dragonball CPU. Two main models were produced, the 180 with a thumb-type keyboard and the 180G which used the 'Graffiti' handwriting recognition software. Prior to the 180 there was the Treo 90, which was a color version but without the cellphone capability.
