Trent Jewett

Trent Jewett (born March 3, 1964 in Dallas, Texas) is the manager of the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians, the top farm club of the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball.

He managed the Triple-A Nashville Sounds from 1998 to 2000 and 2003 to 2004. From 2000 to 2002 he was Pittsburgh's third base coach.

Jewett had a very short playing career, spending four seasons in the Pirates farm system. For his career he had a .172 batting average with two HR and 26 RBI in 113 career games. He played catcher.
